About the Firm
Built for matters where the facts must be beyond reproach.

The Investigation Firm LLP was founded on a simple premise: the integrity of an investigation is inseparable from the credibility of its investigator.
Our partners have spent careers at the intersection of employment litigation, regulatory enforcement, and institutional risk. That work taught us that internal HR-led inquiries — however well-intentioned — rarely survive sustained scrutiny in the modern litigation environment.
We accept engagements as outside neutral counsel only. We do not represent employees against employers. We do not represent employers against employees. We determine what happened, document the basis for those determinations, and deliver findings that organizations, regulators, and reviewing courts can rely upon.
Our clients include Fortune 500 employers, AmLaw 100 law firms, public and private universities, K-12 districts, municipal agencies, and boards of directors navigating their most consequential matters.
Principles
Four commitments that shape every engagement.
Neutrality is non-negotiable.
We do not adopt the perspective of the engaging party. We adopt the perspective of the record.
Privilege is preserved by structure.
Engagements are scoped, staffed, and documented to maintain attorney-client privilege from day one.
Findings, not opinions.
Our reports state what we determined, on what evidence, by what standard. Conclusions are auditable.
Discretion is operational.
Information firewalls, secure intake, and limited-distribution reporting are built into every matter.
